Brief Background

I used to believe that my mission was to make the best possible use of my voice, growing up singing across Toronto, debating across the continent and speaking from every lectern or podium whenever I got the chance.

I’ve since realized that light travels much faster than sound- that I can serve the world through my efforts to understand and engage- not by purely speaking and “selling”.

Among my formative influences are Anthony Bourdain, Kassem Ryan, Adam Friedland, Ben Rhodes and Dementia, as a whole.

Right now, I am in my third year at the University of Toronto where I am supposedly majoring in Ethics, Society and Law with minors in Urban Studies and American Studies.

I can be easily found on the 935 Jane Express, 35 Jane or Line 2 Bloor-Danforth, eating jerk chicken with chopsticks.

I’m currently writing academic works on Caveh Zahedi, Mach-Hommy and Toronto’s Convenience Store network.

If I could have another crack at life, I’d pursue architecture or firefighting.
